6 advantages

OF SCUBA DIVING FOR EMOTIONAL RECOVERY OF KIDS

Scuba diving is not just a sport. It is a rehabilitation tool for kids who have experienced the traumatic events of war

Reducing stress and anxiety

The underwater environment isolates the child from noise and external stimuli, creating an atmosphere of calm. Regular deep breaths while scuba diving promote relaxation and improve mood.

Changing the focus of attention

Being in a new environment helps to shift attention from traumatic memories to positive impressions, and forms new life guidelines.

Feeling of freedom and weightlessness

In the water, kids feel lightness and freedom of movement, which helps them get rid of stiffness, physical and psychological limitations.

Increasing self-confidence

Learning new skills and overcoming fears help build confidence, independence, and increase self-esteem.

Social integration and support

Scuba diving is a team activity that teaches you to interact, trust others, helps you make new friends, and feels the support of the community.

Positive emotions and motivation

Observing the beauty of the underwater world causes admiration, joy, peace, and increases the level of "happiness hormones".

HOW IS THE PROGRAM GOING?

The scuba diving training session lasts from 3 to 4 hours according to the formula «one instructor - one child», is accompanied by underwater photo and video shooting, and consists of the following parts:
